Equalizer

Most motorcycles do not usually come with LED turn signals and LED taillights. However, a simple replacement of the original turn signals and taillights is not possible without an error message in the error memory. One way to install the desired LEDs is so-called load resistors or equalizers. It is important to install the right ones from a variety of available modules. Otherwise, the electronics of the motorcycle may cause irreparable damage.

Below are two types of equalizers that can be used for the current Hardley Davidson models©.

Rear Equalizer for all current HD-models

The shown Equalizer has an outer diameter of 14 mm and a total length of 32 mm. It is designed for the connection of a pair of indicators and in version A additionally for a rear light.

Version A: (5 cores) Universal resistor with blocking diode for all LED turn signals, also in conjunction with LED turn signals. Provides normal flashing frequency regardless of load. TB-ArtNo. : 41-99-657

Version B: (3 cores) The Load Equalizer allows conversion to other LED indicators, such as Thunderbike Stripes. Suitable for Harley-Davidson Revolution Max models from ’21 onwards such as Sportster RH or Pan Amercia. TB-ArtNo. : 41-99-659
Notsuitable for rear 3in1 turn signals with integrated taillight/brake light.

Front Equalizer for all current HD-models

The shown Equalizer has an outer diameter of 18 mm and a total length of 46 mm. It is designed for the additional connection of two indicators.
The flashing frequency sensor is a universally applicable resistor for all LED indicators, which ensures a normal flashing frequency regardless of load. It is suitable for connecting a pair of indicators.

ATTENTION: The Equalizer can get very hot in continuous operation.

Both types of Equalizer are exclusively produced for Thunderbike and are only to be purchased there.
